The aims of the Jersey Sailing Trust are to :

preserve a sailing tradition

Jersey has a rich history  since Viking and Roman times and more recently as legalized piracy in the form of a rag tag navy  known as "Privateers"

conserve suitable yachts

There are elegant yachts in St Helier harbour that are unused and have not seen open water for many years. The Jersey Sailing Trust aims to give some of them a fresh lease of life

provide regular sailing opportunities

Considering the association with tourism and the wealth in the finance sector there are many  permanent and transient residents who look across the bay and wonder ..How do I get out there?

Make sailing available to non-boat owners

It is a condition of the terms of the Deed of the Jersey Sailing Trust that existing boat owners may not receive benefit from the resources of the Trust

Simply...............getting people afloat

If you don't have a boat

or, if you can't afford a boat

The Jersey Sailing Trust

can help you to get afloat
