Basic Membership. We are pleased to advise that the basic cost of sailing is still based on £10.00 per sailing event where the average member goes sailing once a week on a Saturday. However, please be advised that all crews are now obliged to be bound by new and better rules to ensure that the Jersey Sailing Trust has regular income to support the costs of the five yachts. Because of the need for fully comprehensive insurance, the legal advice which we have always recognised and the precautionary advice provided by the Royal Yachting Association RYA, each potential crew member must now be a formally registered member of the Jersey Sailing Trust by virtue of being a subscription member. With immediate effect all crew members (old and new) must complete the Membership Application Form and either complete the Standing Order Form or make arrangement for a subscription to be paid directly into the bank account that is designated for the Jersey Sailing Trust either by using the PayPal credit card payment service or by using your own internet banking facility and making a transfer to:  Jersey Sailing Trust.
