Basic Membership is a minimum subscription of £15.00 per month paid by Standing Order directly into the Jersey Sailing Trust designated bank account. This entitles the paying member to receive notices of all sailing events and social activities, plus one crewing opportunity per month to be reserved in a pre-planned manner. i.e. the first Sunday in each month, for inshore events only. Premium Membership is based on £40.00 per month by Standing Order and allows the member to go sailing each week on a preferred day (i.e. Saturday or Sunday) and also to participate as an offshore crew as available. Payment of Subscription. You can make your subscription payments either by writing to your bank and setting up a Standing Order using our Standing Order Form which is available upon request or  you can use our Credit/Debit card service by Double Clicking here. Time for Time It has traditionally been the case that members who assist with the off-season preparation of any boat will be credited with an equal amount of time at sea. This accumulated time has to be recorded by either of the nominated boat masters, as appointed from time to time. It should be noted and realised that this is not a substitute method of obtaining membership because the Trust still needs the income from membership subscriptions to enable it to meet the cost of  insurance, moorings, trailer parking, maintenance and running repairs. Notes: Both sailing membership frequencies can be increased by ensuring that the members’ subscription is sufficiently in credit to be able to make an on-line booking up to the limit of the pre-paid subscription. Pre-payments cannot be accumulated and carried forward for credit for successive years. Prepayments must be used within thirty days and cannot be accumulated to be credited. Specific invitations to join a crew will normally carry an obligation to be up to date with at least a modest credit balance in subscriptions.
